Mafia + CIA Hit-Man James Files explains the details of the Kennedy Assassination

James Files entered the U.S. military as an 82nd airborne combat infantry soldier in 1959, and shortly later was assigned - as an Army/CIA mercenary - to train locals in Laos to "fight Communists."
He relates that "he got in hot water" for executing two of his own men there, but was vindicated during a court martial.  Subsequently, he was recruited by the CIA and sent back to Laos, and then to work in the vast CIA operations in the American south (Florida, Louisiana, Texas) to train Cuban exiles to invade and conquer Cuba from Castro.  He had been assigned to participate in the CIA's  "BAY OF PIGS" invasion of Cuba, but at the last minute a change of orders kept him from boarding one of the invasion ships - sparing him the grisly fate of those who were killed or captured in the aborted Bay of Pigs invasion.
It was this backdrop - of having known and trained men who were captured in the Bay of Pigs fiasco - that found James Files sucked in to one of  the many on-going assassination plots against President Kennedy.  Later in the interview Files relates that the NSA itself  sent FBI Director J Edgar Hoover - who was in on the assassination and in particular CONTROLLED the COVER-UP  - information that plans for the assassination of President Kennedy were being discussed - by those who had the ability to carry them out.

Mafia + CIA Hit-Man James Files explains the details of the Kennedy Assassination...
there were only 2,  TWO shooters; James Files as back-up gunman and Mafia Hit-Man Charles "Chuck" Nicoletti as the primary gunman or "shooter."  Nicoletti was stationed in and shot from, not  the Texas School Book Depository Building, but from the Dal-Tex building that had an even clearer line of fire as the presidential limo drove down Elm Street that a shooter from the TSBD building would have.

When Files arrived in the Dallas area 5 days before the assassination on assignment as the "gopher" and driver for the his mob bosses,  after driving from Chicago, he made two phone calls: one to let his mob boss Chuck Nicoletti know that he had arrived...

...and another similar phone call to DAVID ATLEE PHILIPS...  James Files' CIA  "controller"  or "handler" as it would be called today.

The very next morning  Files was surprised to answer a knock on the door... and see that LEE HARVEY OSWALD was there.
Oswald  HAD BEEN ASSIGNED by his CIA "controller" the SAME DAVID ATLEE PHILIPS,
to help Files scout out the Dealey Plaza "kill zone" and  railroad &  traffic routes in and out of the area,  and to find a place where Files could shoot his guns and "calibrate" or  sight them in.

Files explains how Lee Harvey Oswald had worked for the CIA as a "deep undercover" agent - pretending to be a Communist -  and had for his entire career - that there was simply no way that the military & CIA would have tolerated a traitor spy, with Top Secret military clearance,  flying to a Communist country at the height of the Cold War, without CIA authorization.

Files had met Oswald earlier in Louisiana on a gun-running mission, to provide Cuban exile militias with CIA & mob supplied machine-guns.  Oswald had arrived in a dirty, rusty pick-up truck and the two loaded the guns in the back of the truck under a tarp to deliver them to the intended destination.

Files explains that  Lee Harvey Oswald DID NOT shoot Dallas police officer J.D. Tippet shortly after President Kennedy was assassinated.   He, Files, discovered that ANOTHER MOB/CIA ASSASSIN had been assigned to kill Oswald, but had been approached by a Dallas police officer while that gunman was walking the streets in Oswald's neighborhood  searching for Oswald,  and Officer Tippet was shot by the gunman.

Files learned of this when the gunman knocked on his hotel door in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas, the morning after the Kennedy assassination,  asking Files to dispose of the handgun the gunman had used to shoot Officer Tippet.  It is obvious that James Files had a certain respect if not friendship for Oswald, having spent the  previous 5 days (before the assassination) with Lee, but Files  suppresses any empathy for his friend  in a professional, stone-cold mob killer manner,   upon learning of the attempted assassination of his friend.

Files leaves no doubt that his handler - top CIA official David Atlee Philips - had SET UP OSWALD TO BE KILLED  on his walk to the movie theater where he was supposed to meet Philips.
Files also discusses the  cooperation between his mob bosses and the CIA.  The Chicago mob was motivated to participate in any assassination coup against Kennedy, because Attorney General Robert Kennedy was aggressively prosecuting, and expelling from America top mafia capos.
On the morning of the Kennedy assassination (Nov. 22, 1963) flashy & well-connected mob hit-man & enforcer Johnny Roselli arrived in Dallas to TERMINATE the assassination attempt that day - he had been given a ride on a CIA charter flight.

But Roselli's orders, from the CIA, to terminate (cancel) the mission (the "hit" on President Kennedy that day) was voided, over-ridden by Charles Nicoletti...
with the approval of his mob boss,   SAM GIANCANA - who was in Dallas on that day.

James Files then states what we have previously  learned elsewhere: that while the public considered Sam Giancanna to be "the boss" of the Chicago mob,  in fact Giancanna was STILL SUBORDINATE to the previous boss, who continued to operate from the background shadows of retirement,  TONY ACARDI.
This is one of many "inside details"  that would mean this video was very, very well scripted if it was not the original comments of a man who was actually involved in the criminal activities discussed.

It was only on the morning of the planned assassination, just an hour or two before the presidential procession would arrive in the Dealey Plaza "kill zone"  and after Nicoletti had been informed of the CIA's "terminate" order, that James Files was asked if he would be the 2nd gunman in the shooting attempts.

Johnny  Roselli had been scheduled to be the 2nd gunman, but refused to do so when the CIA ordered him to cancel the hit that day.  Files, as the new, 2nd, back-up shooter,  was ordered NOT to shoot the president UNLESS NO SHOTS had hit the president in the head by the time the presidential limo came into Files' field of fire,    from his position behind the picket fence 30 yards from Elm Street atop the "grassy knoll."

Of all the "inside details" James Files discusses in this amazing "fly on the wall" insight in to the Kennedy assassination, one stands out for confirming his story about his role in the Kennedy assassination:
as he is sighting in on the president's head as the limousine comes in to his field of fire, at point-blank range for the accurate scope-sighted long-barrel .222  "Fireball" pistol he is using,   James Files aims at the president's right eye and professionally squeezes his trigger - but the bullet misses his aiming point and hits the president an inch or two behind the eye, because President Kennedy's head had fallen forward just as James Files squeezed the trigger.

James Files, seeing his bullet hit the president's temple and explode out of the back of Kennedy's head through the 3x scope, believes Kennedy must have been hit by another shot from behind that shoves his head forward.
But it wasn't another shot that made President Kennedy's head fall forward the moment before James Files shot arrived:
Kennedy had already been hit by a FATAL SHOT FROM BEHIND,  probably shot by Chuck Nicoletti, that blasted through his neck and exited low from his throat.  This was the shot where President Kennedy is seen, in the Zapruder film,  grasping his throat with both hands,  elbows out, arms level with his shoulders.
It is already a fatal shot, but not instantly so:  but moments later, as death sets in, the president's head slumps forward at the moment that Files' shot arrives.

So James Files  shot would have been fatal... but President Kennedy WAS ALREADY DEAD, killed by a shot from behind microseconds before James Files' shot arrived.
The shot was probably fired by Chuck Nicoletti from the Dal-Tex building,  but  it may have been fired from the "sniper's nest" that Oswald allegedly used in the TSBD building - quite possibly shots were fired there by then Vice President Lyndon Johnson's own personal 'hit-man' Malcolm Wallace. who probably set up the "sniper's nest"  in order to  frame Oswald.

Whoever set up the "sniper's nest" in the TSBD building, and whether or not they actually fired a shot,  it certainly wasn't Oswald.

Of those involved in the Kennedy assassination,  SAM GIANCANNA, Chuck NICOLETTI, and Johnny ROSELLI would all be murdered by  the mid-1970s....

James Files believes that the government, not the mob, had the above men killed - to prevent them testifying, a decade later, about anything they knew about the Kennedy assassination in Congressional hearings.

Mr. Files relates how he miraculously survived a torture session, where he was tossed out of a moving car, naked & tied, by those who presumed he was dead.   Files believes this team must have been FBI amateurs,  "because CIA or Mafia would have put 3 or 4 bullets in his head, and 2 or 3 more in the roof of his mouth."   And he relates surviving ANOTHER ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT, where two Chicago police officers in an unmarked car, acting as hired gunmen, machine-gunned the car Files and his partner were riding in, the car was riddled with bullets.

These stories  - and the evidentiary chain that led to Mr. Files' prison confession four decades later, is an amazing example of how "secrets want to get out" and the truth wants to be told -
even when it requires a string of miracles to do so.
